James Rose Oriental Carpets was originally established in Altrincham Cheshire in 1975. James’s great love of oriental carpets had driven him to read and study providing a wealth of knowledge rare in this country.
In 1989, son in law Steve joined James, and the business went from strength to strength
In 2006 the business relocated to a quirky garden center in Lymm, Cheshire offering better access and parking.
We strive to achieve a personal customer service, and are renowned for sourcing a wide variety of beautiful oriental specialist rugs and carpets for customers all over the UK. We now also sell and fit quality wood floors.
If we do not already have the item in stock we will make every effort to source it or we can arrange for you to visit the one of the many wholesalers we use to help you select from the largest selection in the UK.
Home visit service
If you live within 50 miles of Lymm we’ll happily bring a selection of carpets or rugs out to you for home trial should this be necessary – we appreciate how important it is to find a piece as individual as your lifestyle and your homes. (We are prepared to travel further depending on the value of your purchases)
